Room Eerie.

P.S.... I just added a Music-Gadget...don't forget to press play!!

Hey ALL! (i don't mean to sound like britney spears..okay.. i did)

Well, with the best friend in another country, the boyfriend fast asleep, and myself WITH AN UNBEARABLE HEADACHE, which I've yet to cure, there would've been no better time than now to write a little..
So, Halloween, next Friday huh? It only comes natural to look for a scary movie on t.v. but this year I have to admit, I've been so disappointed. It seems Final Destination 1, 2, & 3!! is as "scary" as it gets! I caught a little of "Nightmare on Elm Street 2", last night on UPN.. actually i believe its called My Network now? Well, it kind of reminded me that I never did grow out of the Bogey Man. Yes, I will admit, I am still afraid of Freddy Kruger, a little.. a lot. =/.

But where are all those movies that made me afraid of being alone, and afraid of walking in my house past midnight cause someone would crawl out from under the bed or sofa and grab my leg?? I'm on a mission! For the next week, in the free-time i manage to have, I'm out to find those movies on t.v.! We need the dawn of the dead, Friday the 13ths and the Halloweens, and how could i forget... Child's Play!! My, how that little doll scared me silly when i was 6. Eek. thinking of him still gets to me.

Mission #2 - I have to get through the Exorcist at least once! I'm SO SCARED of that little girl. OH boy.. but i have to do it!! I was thinking of posting a picture of her on here, so I'd face my fear every time I visit this page, but I know exactly what would happen, I'd rather never sign on to my blog ever again than stare at her!

I thought this was fun to know!

The ancient Gaels believed that on October 31, now known as Halloween, the boundary between the alive and the deceased dissolved, and the dead become dangerous for the living by causing problems such as sickness or damaged crops. The festivals would frequently involve bonfires, into which bones of slaughtered livestock were thrown. Costumes and masks were also worn at the festivals in an attempt to mimic the evil spirits or placate them.

And that's exactly why I was thinking of being (well, mimicking or placating!) Amy Winehouse this year..

It's my FAVORITE time of year, not only is it absolutely beautiful with the multi-colored leaves, but Halloween means 10x the candy, thanksgiving means 10x the food.. and family! And Autumn means... All the pumpkiny-nutmegy-foods are BACK FOR A MONTH OR TWO! I'll leave you guys with a few of my faves that are easily available in October til the rest of the year.. My, we've made the last quarter of 2008 already. Wishing everyone well in the last 3 months..!

Milla
